Each AnatomyGlass object starts as a flawless piece of optical crystal which is then blasted by a laser beam that produces tens of thousands (24,564 for the spine) of etch marks inside the glass. Two hours later, these etch marks create an exquisite image that "floats" in the glass and retains the three dimensional image from any angle.
How Each Piece is Created
Step Two: Laser etch an optically flawless piece of lead crystal using scientific lasers, advanced software and the 3D dataset file.
The result, as shown on the right, is a three dimensional image that appears to be floating in an optically clear glass block.
